I've lived in Saugerties for more than 20 years, and in all that time I can't think of a single person who has done more for the well-being of this community than Gary Bischoff. He is accountable; he has worked hard to conserve open spaces in the town and in the county, while not discouraging responsible development; he has supported small farmers; he was fought for clean elections and tried to steer us away from new voting machines that are overly complicated and could easily be tampered with; and he has promoted renewable forms of energy (such as the potential for creating a local solar energy cluster). And that's just a fraction of what this very devoted public servant has already accomplished or is trying to do. Please return him to the County Legislature on Election Day.

Gary Bischoff, Ulster County District 4 legislator, walks the talk in support of economic development. Being the owner of a small, local, high technology, global manufacturing business which has generated over $1 million in sales revenues, Gary knows what it takes to create and keep good paying jobs in Saugerties and Ulster County. He has kept his business here and mentors young people, so they have the option to stay here, too. He invents products that he manufactures locally. And he not only shows up for his legislative job, he does it with great thoroughness and care. Gary deserves our vote for reelection! Vote Row A.

"With this year's elections just around the corner, I find myself faced with an obvious choice for Ulster County legislator. You see, I prefer to vote for someone who is active in the community, someone who can relate to the constituents, someone who genuinely cares about people. This election we have just such a candidate. In fact, I have voted for him several times in the past. This man is everywhere! He is always approachable, always willing to listen. I am referring of course to Gary Bischoff. Think about it - if you're from Saugerties, you see him too! Whether snapping photos at the Garlic Fest as a volunteer in the Kiwanis Club, paddling his kayak with his wife Marge as a participant in the Irma Sagazie Esopus Creek Safari, or eating at one of many church dinners. You may have even seen him fighting a fire as a volunteer fireman. Or at a Boy Scout Eagle Court of Honor representing the legislature. (He is at nearly every one!) Or maybe you were one of the group from Saugerties High that he chaperoned for the Obama inauguration in D.C. Or perhaps you were just strolling through town on a nice summer day and had a chance to speak with him as he had a cup of coffee out in front of Dave's Coffee Shop. Gary is a politician who genuinely is part of our community. He does care and it shows. Best of all, he is really a nice guy! Please join me this November in re-electing Gary Bischoff to the Ulster County Legislature."

Gary Bischoff is running for reelection as member of the Ulster County Legislature to represent Saugerties. I want Gary to know that he has my vote and my support.I've known Gary and his wife for over 12 years and I am truly appreciative of their friendship and kindness. I am appreciative of Gary's work for Saugerties. Gary is a community man, deeply involved in civic groups and politics. He likes to get things done. He is very approachable and is willing to listen.As I've mentioned before, I've found Gary to be extremely helpful to the youth who want to make a contribution to the community. Gary is deserving of my vote, and yours.
